The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration’s offices are located in different places around Denmark:
- Aalborg

Who is Contenera’s Print Service?
Where is Print Service located?
Contenera’s Print Service is located in Vejen, and this location is not arbitrary. The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration has an office in Vejen, and our Print Service is located in the same building as the Administration’s office.
This means that health/food certificates can be ready for approval at the Administration’s desk shortly after Print Service has received them from you.
So, it is very quick and easy to have your certificates approved when using Contenera’s Print Service, because we deliver and pick up your health/food certificates from the Administration’s office once an hour.
If you use DIX certificates, Print Service may sound redundant, because these types of certificates are sent directly to the Administration’s office, where they are printed as well. However, after they have been stamped and signed, it is your responsibility to manage your certificates and have them brought back to your office in some way.
Instead, when you use Print Service, you are certain that your certificates are mailed to you on the same day as they are approved.
The people behind the service
Print Service consists of Gitte and Anette. The two hard-working- and competent women ensure that all customers have their health/food certificates stamped- and approved by the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration.
It is no small task that Gitte and Anette perform on a daily basis – they run several thousand certificates through the system every month.

Which tasks does Print Service handle?
Approval of your health certificates
The main task of Print Service is the handling of health/food certificates. When you create a certificate on the Contenera-platform, it is sent digitally to Print Service who takes care of the following:
- Printing the certificate on official, watermarked paper
- Stamp and signature from the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration
- Uploading the certificate to the platform in the finished format, and the printed certificate is sent to you by express mail
- The logbook is managed for you
The process for DIX certificates is a bit different as you sent your health/food certificate digitally to the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration directly through the export platform. Here after, Print Service takes care of the following:
- Pick up of certificate at the Administration’s office.
- Check if all stamps and signatures are correct
- Uploading the certificate to the platform in the finished format, and the printed certificate is sent to you by express mail
- The logbook is managed for you
As an exporter, you carry the responsibility on your shoulders
Gitte and Anette have a lot of experience in a field of work where quality is in high demand every day. As an exporter, you are responsible for what is written in the certificates. However, we believe it is nice, still, to get an email or a phone call if Gitte and Anette catch an error in one of your certificates. This gives you a chance to correct the errors before the certificates are stamped by the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration, and before the goods leave the country.

Once a certificate is approved and sent back to the company, Print Service adds the shipment to the specific logbook they keep for your company. This means you do not have to keep a manual log of your shipments.
Veterinary certificates are part of the service
Contenera’s Print Service is approved on the same terms to also manage veterinary certificates by the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration. The process is extactly the same as for health/food certificates eventhough the concern is around transportation of livestock. Typically, it is horse and bovine semen, fish eggs, etc.

When it comes to DIX certificates, they are picked up at the Administration’s office every day just past noon on office days – and you will have a scanned copy available in the platform by closing-time at the latest.
